Perform, teach, and inspire with Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre in Northern California! Now hiring performer/educators. Full-time, touring acting and teaching artist positions. Perform in engaging theatrical shows and lead educational workshops about health issues. Aspects of position include, but are not limited to: preparation, rehearsal, and performance for acting roles and educational workshops; serving as a peer/youth educator and role model for students; participating in health education and counseling training; performing technical duties such as setting up performance equipment and driving company vans and trucks; representing Educational Theatre to the community and media; supporting Kaiser Permanente policies. Local and out-of-area travel required.
Must be over 18 and have a valid driver’s license to obtain the position. Must be willing and able to play characters aged 8 to 18, and read as high school age or younger, as our audiences are mostly students in grades K – 12.
